Doi Ilish, Hilsha Curd/Yogurt

A great smell from the kitchen tells you that your Doi Rui is done.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  1. 4 Hilsa
  2. 2 tbsp Yogurt
  3. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  4. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2 Green Chilly
  7. 1 tsp Black Jeera
  8. Mustard Oil

Cooking procedure:

Take the good pieces of fish and clean it with water pat it dry. Marinate with salt and turmeric powder.

Make a paste of mustard seeds, turmeric powder, salt, green chilly and mustard oil .

Put jeera to crackle in oil. Add this mixture to the pan when the fish pieces become tender. Be careful that the mixture should be added evenly.

Now add the dahi and immediately stir it otherwise dahi will form a chunk

Serving Suggestions:

Now Preparation is ready to serve with white rice .
