Its a creamy dish.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  1. 4 Rohu/ Katla Fish ( Peti Pieces)
  2. 1/2 cup Milk
  3. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  4. 1 tsp Methi Seeds
  5. Salt to taste
  6. A pinch of Sugar
  7. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  8. 1 Green Chilly
  9. 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  10. 1 Dried Red Chilly

Cooking Procedure:

Marinate with salt and turmeric powder.

Heat oil in non stick kadai and shallow fry the fish. Keep aside the fish pieces.

Take mustard seeds,methi seeds, dried red chilly, green chilly and 1 /2 cup milk.

Put rest of the oil in the kadai and put methi seeds and mustard seeds to crackle in oil. Add green chilly with salt and turmeric ( salt and turmeric should be added according to one’s taste and colour) in the oil.

After the oil comes out from the masala put the milk  and 1 cup of water into it for boiling. Add fish pieces into it for boiling and let it simmer for few minutes.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with Rice.
