Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Tel Koi
- 1 Tomato
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 100 gm Beaten Curd
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Corriander powder
- 1 tsp Kalo Jeera
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Mustard Oil
- 4-5 Green Chilly
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
Cooking Procedure:
Take good pieces of fish. Wash it properly.
Mix tomato paste, onion paste with ginger garlic paste and cumin corriander powder in a different bowl.
Beaten Curd
Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt. Fry the fish , till they turn deep golden on both sides. Keep aside. Add two green chilies and kalo jeera to the oil. When the seeds splutter, add onion paste. Stir well. Add the jeera, dhania and red chili powder,salt and little sugar. Fry, till oil leaves the sides. Then pour tomato and beaten curd. Stir well . Let the gravy boil for a couple of minutes. If necessary add little water. Add the fish to this gravy, slit rest of the chilies and add it to the gravy. Cover the lid for 5-10 mins.
Serving Suggestion:
Pour a little oil over the fish and serve with steamed rice. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
