Mutton Keema Muttor, Minced Mutton Peas

Simple but still a satisfying fry which can be eaten either with chapathi or rice.

Simple but still a satisfying dish which can be eaten either with paratha or rumali roti.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  1. 250 gm Mutton Keema / Minced Mutton
  2. Salt
  3. 1 Cup Green Peas
  4. 1 Tomato
  5. 1 Onion
  6. 1 Potato
  7. 1 tbsp Garlic – finely chopped
  8. 1 tbsp Ginger- finely chopped
  9. 2 Green Chilly
  10. 1 Bayleaf
  11. Cinnamon ( Darchini) – 1 inch
  12. 3/4 Cardamom ( Elach)
  13. 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  14. 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  15. Sugar
  16. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  17. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  18. Coriander Leaves

Cooking Procedure:

Cut the onion, tomato, potato, greenchilly,ginger and garlic into small pieces.

Take mutton keema and peas.

Heat oil in pan then add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon.

When the spices crackle , add the onions, ginger and garlic. Add potato.Mix well. Add the tomatoes, and fry for 4-5 minutes to blend them. Add Keema, and mix well with the masala. Fry for 3 minutes  Add 1-2 tsp of water, and mix the powders well with the meat. Fry for 5-6 minutes. Add more water if the meat becomes dry. Cover the lid for about 5-10 mins. Lastly add the garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with paratha.
